Start-up
Check pipe connections and make sure that you follow the device installation procedures before start-up.
The hot water cylinder, central heating system and heating coil need to be filled out with the water in the
following way:
• turn on the valve on cold water inlet,
• turn on the hot water outlet valve (outflow of water without the air bubbles indicates that the tank is full),
• turn off the outlet valves,
• turn on the valves connecting a heating system with the hot water cylinder,
• check for leaks,
• check the safety valve performance with accordance to “Operation” section on page 8.
Operation
Recommendations
Follow the guidelines below for safety and product reliability:
• check the safety valve performance once every 14 days. Turn the valve cup to the left (or right) and lift the cup for
the water come out. Put the cup back to shut-off the incoming water flow. The device should not be used anymore
if the water does not come out (it indicates that the valve is broken).
• clean inside of the cylinder periodically. The frequency of cleaning depend on the degree of water hardness.
• check the wear condition of the magnesium anode rod (once a year). The rod should be replaced once every 18
months.
• heat up the water to 65
0
C periodically for hygiene reasons.
• failures or malfunctions notify to the authorised service.
• insulate the outlet and inlet pipe of coil to minimise the heat loss (recommended).
Above activities are beyond of the scope of warranty (should be done by user).
The water leak from outlet pipe of safety valve is normal effect of the device operation. Do not stop this leak,
it may causes device failure.
Do not use the device if there
is probability of safety valve
failure.
Rated temperature of hot wa-
ter cylinder should not exceed
80
0
C!
The warranty does not cover
damage of thermal insulating
cover due to cylinder over-
heating.
Cylinder emptying
Follow the guidelines below for safety cylinder emptying.
•
turn off all valves connecting cylinder with the heat circulation system.
•
turn off the valve on cylinder cold water inlet.
•
turn on the drain valve.
