9350 KRAUSMANN POWER TOOLS
English | EN
3. Specic safety regulations
Wear ear protectors. Exposure to noise can
cause hearing loss.
Hold power tools by insulated gripping
surfaces when performing an operation
where the cutting tool may contact hidden
wiring or its own cord. Contact with a “live”
wire will make exposed metal parts of the
tool “live” and shock the operator.
Wear a hard hat (safety helmet), safety
glasses and/or face shield. Ordinary eye or
sun glasses are NOT safety glasses. It is also
highly recommended that you wear a dust
mask and thickly padded gloves.
Under normal operation, the tool is designed
to produce vibration. The screws can
come loose easily, causing a breakdown or
accident. Check tightness of screws carefully
before operation.
In cold weather or when the tool has not
been used for a long time, let the tool warm
up for a while by operating it under no load.
This will loosen up the lubrication.
Always be sure you have a rm footing. Be
sure no one is below when using the tool in
high locations.
Hold the tool rmly with both hands.
Κeep hands away from moving parts.
Do not leave the tool running. Operate the
tool only when hand-held.
Do not point the tool at any one in the area
when operating. Parts could y out and injure
somenone seriously.
Do not touch parts close to the blade during
or immediately after operation; they may be
extremely hot and could burn your skin.
Some material contains chemicals which
may be toxic. Take caution to prevent dust
inhalation and skin contact. Follow material
supplier safety data.
DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with product
(gained from repeated use) replace strict adher-
ence to electric power tools’ safety rules. If you
use this tool unsafely or incorrectly, you can suer
serious personal injury.

WARNING:
Misuse or failure to follow the safety rules stated in this
instruction manual may cause serious personal injury.
Additional safety regulations for hot
cutters
Do not force the hot cutter. Products are
safer and do a better job when used in the
manner for which they are designed. Plan
your work, and use the correct product for
the job.
Check for damaged parts before each use.
Carefully check that the product will operate
properly and perform its intended function.
Replace damaged or worn parts immediately.
Never operate the product with a damaged
part.
Do not use a product with a malfunctioning
switch. Any power tool that cannot be
controlled with the power switch is
dangerous and must be repaired by an
authorized service representative before
using.
Disconnect the power/air supply from the
product and place the switch in the locked or
o position before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing the tool.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the
risk of starting the tool accidentally.
Store the hot cutter when it is not in use.
Store it in a dry, secure place out of the reach
of children. Inspect the tool for good working
condition prior to storage and before re-use.
Use only accessories that are recommended
by the manufacturer for use with your
product. Accessories that may be suitable
for one product may create a risk of injury
when used with another tool. Never use an
accessory that has a lower operating speed
or operating pressure than the tool itself.
Keep guards in place and in working order.
Never operate the product without the
guards in place.
Do not leave the tool running unattended.
