Ensure you change the water hardness depending on the place of use or information sent by water companies.
FILTER CARTRIDGE
When powering up for the rst time, the device asks you if you want to install a lter. If you want to and if the hardness
of your water requires it, select "YES" and follow the instructions on the screen.
To access the Filter menu
- Press Settings .
- Using the navigation arrows go to "Maintenance" and press " " and then go to "Filter” and press
" ".
Installing the filter cartridge
- In the Filter menu, select "Insert".
- Turn the grey ring located at the top of the lter cartridge to indicate the date in 2 months, which corresponds
to when you need to change it. Fig.6
- Empty the water tank and screw the lter cartridge in the bottom of the water tank using the accessory supplied
with the cartridge. Fig.5
- Fill the water tank and put it back in place. Fig.7 and 8
- If you wish to install your cartridge later on, access the Filter menu, section “Place” and follow the instructions
above.
- Let the machine guide you to nish the installation.
Replace the filter cartridge
- In the Filter menu, select "Change"
- Remove the water tank and remove the old lter cartridge
- Turn the grey ring located on the upper end of the lter cartridge until it displays 2 months.
- Empty the water tank and screw the new lter cartridge in the bottom of the water tank using the accessory
supplied with the cartridge.
- Fill the water tank and put it back in place.
- Let the machine guide you to nish.
Remove the filter cartridge
- In the Filter menu, select "Remove"
- Remove the water tank and remove the old lter cartridge
It is important to replace the lter cartridge properly on the date indicated.
GRINDER: ADJUST THE GRINDING FINENESS
You can adjust the strength of your coffee by adjusting the grinding neness of the coffee beans; the ner the grinder
setting, the stronger and creamier the coffee.
Varying the neness of the grinding enables you to adapt to the different types of bean: a highly roasted and rather oily
bean will require a coarse grinding while a more lightly roasted bean will be drier and will require a ner grinding. The
ner the grinding, the more powerful the aroma.
