Brewing delicious coffee is an art and a science. Your machine is designed to deliver
the ultimate result in the cup, with that result being highly dependent on 4 basic
factors : the water, the coffee, the ratio and the grind. Read more about these
important factors on the following pages.
• Remove all packaging
• The water filter holder (j) and cartridge (k) are located inside the water tank
(a). Please remove before filling water tank.
• Before brewing coffee for the first time, follow the steps below and run a brew cycle
without coffee and without the DuoFilter (k), to rinse the system. Use a full tank of
water.
• Remove the DuoFilter (k) from its plastic covering. Rinse it under tap water for
1 minute.
• Unhinge the lower part of the holder and insert the DuoFilter (k) into its housing.
• Replace the water filter holder (j). The coffee machine is ready to use.
