The steam nozzle
does not froth the
milk.
The steam nozzle is blocked
or scaled up
The milk is too hot.
The shape of the container
is not appropriate.
You are using skimmed milk.
The steam nozzle is not
properly clipped onto the
articulated arm.
The auto cappuccino
accessory is assembled
incorrectly
Descale the steam nozzle (see paragraph 5) or
unblock it using a needle.
Use cold milk.
Use a small jug.
Preferably use whole or semi-skimmed milk.
Use very cold, very fresh milk. Try using a
different brand of milk.
Clip it firmly onto the articulated arm (Fig. 18.1,
18.2).
Insert it firmly into the articulated arm
The appliance does
not work
The pump was unprimed
due to lack of water.
The Claris cartridge has
been replaced but not
primed.
The removable water tank is
not properly clicked in
place.
Fill the water tank and reprime the pump (see
paragraph 1). Avoid completely emptying the
tank.

Click the tank into place by pressing firmly.
