Why is my KTM Motorcycle engine overheating?
- MManuel RayJul 30, 2025
If your KTM Motorcycle engine is overheating, several factors could be the cause. You might have too little coolant, so check for leaks and the coolant level. Insufficient airflow could also be a factor; switch off the engine when stationary. Dirty radiator fins can impede cooling, so clean them. Foam formation in the cooling system requires draining and refilling the coolant. Other potential issues include a damaged cylinder head or gasket (which should be checked), a bent radiator hose (which should be changed), or an incorrect ignition point due to a loose stator (which requires adjustment).
