  Several issues can cause the roller to not turn. It might be due to the hydraulic valve on the skid steer loader not being engaged, a worn, damaged, insufficient, or inadequate hydraulic pump, insufficient oil in the system, a worn or damaged housing, air in the hydraulic hoses, a broken hose, loose or damaged hoses, an obstruction between the roller and material control blade, the drive chain being off, or loose or damaged connections. Please, check all these potential causes.

  To fix roller gouging, ensure the gauge wheel on the chaincase side is approximately 1" lower than the non-drive side gauge wheel for consistent leveling. Also, set the gauge wheel depth and correct the air pressure in the gauge wheels.
