Pinion Shaft. Sedor Gear and Sedor Shaft
1. Open the steering gear case (1), and remove the pinion shaft
(3), sector gear (8) and sector shaft (9).
(When reassembling)
•
When installing the sector gear (8) to the sector shaft (9), be
sure
to align the alignment marks (11) on the them.
• Apply grease to the position (12) as shown in the figure.
•
Apply grease to the lipofoil seal (13).
