Do you have a question about the Kwikee 2000 and is the answer not in the manual?
Disconnect the positive battery cable before starting any work on the system.
Cut wires to the Fluid Level Sensor approximately 1 to 2 inches from the sensor.
Remove wires from the two small posts on the motor control solenoid.
Remove spade connectors from valve solenoids, tracing and removing the daisy chain wire.
Unscrew hose clamps connecting the jack motor control unit to the motor and remove it.
Cut yellow wires to each jack leg from the control unit; discard or return for warranty.
Measure pump motor solenoid primary coil resistance to ensure it's within the specified ohm range.
Install red daisy chain harness, connecting ring terminal to solenoid bolt and spade connectors to valve solenoids.
Attach wiring harness pigtail to pump, connecting wires to valve markings; note TD1 and TD2 wiring.
Connect the black wire with ring lug to the pump's ground bolt, possibly on the motor.
Connect the red wire with ring lug to the pump solenoid on the battery cable side.
Connect the white wire (SOL +) to an empty small post on the pump solenoid.
Connect a 12" jumper wire between remaining solenoid posts and the pump ground bolt.
Route the 16' multi-wire harness through the firewall to the control panel location.
Connect the yellow wire to a 12V ignition source active when the engine is running.
Connect the blue wire to the park brake wire, ensuring it shows ground when the brake is set.
Identify park brake signal wire and type (12V or ground), using a relay if a positive signal is present.
Wire jack leg position switches in series using TD1 wire; connect sensors sequentially.
Connect the last sensor's remaining wire to a yellow wire, running it to the pump grounding bolt.
Ensure all wiring connections are fully inserted and locked before reconnecting battery cables.
Install the control panel using a mounting bracket below the instrument panel or flush mount it.
Determine wire routing, using existing holes or drilling a 1 1/2" hole through the firewall.
Select a dash position with adequate surface area for the bracket and convenient operation.
Layout and cut opening for flush mounting the control panel; route cable through the dash.
Seal any holes drilled from the interior to the exterior of the vehicle with a silicone sealant.
Check that all system ground harness connections are firmly attached.
Connect the 8 ft. red #4 cable from the pump motor's solenoid to the positive chassis battery terminal.
