11.7.1 Dismantling/Disposal
When discarding the LSU, we
recommend it be dismantled and
discarded according to local protocol.
Dismantle the LSU by unscrewing the screws
on the back side of the LSU, remove the
components and sort according to the table in
11.7.
The cleaned LSU can also be delivered to
your local Laerdal Medical representative for
dismantling/disposal. Laerdal Medical AS will not
charge any fee for the dismantling; Sender is
reponsible for the cost of the shipment.
