All the crew members have to be properly trained.
Do not sail at maximum speed in areas of dense tra c
or in case of reduced visibility, strong winds or high
waves. Reduce the speed and the wake of the boat, by
respect to others but also as a measure of safety, both
for them and for yourself. Respect the speed and wake
limits when zones are de ned.
Respect the priority rules set by the navigation
regulations and laid down by the COLREG.
Make sure that you always have a su cient distance to
stop or steer the boat in order to avoid a collision.
