This document is the user manual for the LAMONA Built-In Wine Cooler 300mm, model LAM6913.

Function Description

The LAMONA Built-In Wine Cooler 300mm (LAM6913) is a refrigerating appliance designed exclusively for the storage of wine bottles. It is intended for domestic use and can be integrated into fitted kitchen cabinets. The cooler maintains a controlled temperature environment to preserve the quality and ensure optimal storage conditions for wine.

Usage Features

  • Digital Control Panel: Features a power on/off control, interior LED light control, a temperature display window, and temperature up/down buttons.
  • Temperature Setting: Users can directly set the desired temperature within the 5-20°C range using the up/down arrows. Each touch adjusts the temperature by 1°C.
  • Interior LED Light: Can be switched on/off via the control panel. Leaving the light on slightly increases energy consumption.
  • Shelves: Designed for 75cl Bordeaux bottle storage. Shelves can be carefully removed for cleaning. Anti-vibration pads on shelves must be replaced when putting shelves back.
  • Door Swing Reversal: The door can be configured to open from either the left or right-hand side. Instructions are provided for reversing the door swing from its default left-hand opening.
  • Adjustable Feet: Allows for leveling the appliance during installation.
  • Adjustable Plinth Cover: Located behind the plinth grille, it can be adjusted to cover the gap between the wine cooler and the floor.

Maintenance Features

  • Cleaning:
    • General Cleaning: Before cleaning, turn off the power, unplug the appliance, and remove all items and shelves.
    • Interior: Clean with a damp cloth and a solution of 2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 litre of clean water. Wipe dry with a soft, dry cloth.
    • Shelves: Clean with a mild detergent and damp cloth, then dry.
    • Exterior: Clean the cabinet outside with a damp cloth, warm water, and mild liquid detergent. Rinse well and wipe dry with a clean soft cloth.
    • Controls Area: Use a damp, clean cloth.
    • Door Seals: The door seals are removable for cleaning. They should be cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent, dried thoroughly, and then pressed back into their channel.
  • Power Failure: In case of power failure, minimize door openings to maintain temperature. If the power is off for an extended period, take steps to protect contents.
  • Absence and Holidays:
    • Short Holidays (less than three weeks): Leave the wine cooler in operation.
    • Long Absences (several months): Remove all items, turn off, unplug, clean and dry the interior thoroughly. Leave the door slightly open (blocked if necessary) to prevent odors and mold growth.
  • Moving the Appliance: Remove all items, securely tape down shelves, wind in adjustable legs, tape the door shut, and protect the outside with a blanket or similar item.
