Why is the operating pressure low on my Landa PHW4-3000 Pressure Washer?
    • R
      robinsonthomasNov 21, 2025
Low operating pressure in your Landa Pressure Washer can stem from several causes. Ensure you have a sufficient water supply by using a larger garden hose and cleaning the water filter at the inlet, as well as the screen inside the float tank. Check for plumbing or hose leaks and re-tape any leaks with Teflon tape. A worn or incorrect nozzle can also cause this issue; match the nozzle number to your machine or replace it. Other potential causes include belt slippage (tighten or replace the belt), a faulty or misadjusted unloader valve (adjust or install a repair kit), worn packing in the pump (install a new packing kit), fouled or dirty inlet/discharge valves (clean them), worn inlet/discharge valves (replace them with a valve kit), an obstruction in the spray nozzle (remove it), low power...

What to do if the burner will not light on my Landa Pressure Washer?
    • R
      Rebecca FreemanNov 24, 2025
If the burner on your Landa Pressure Washer won't light, start by checking the fuel level and filling the tank if it's low. Ensure you're using the correct fuel and drain the tank if there's water contamination. Replace a plugged fuel filter. Readjust the burner air bands for a clean burn. If there's little or no fuel pressure from the fuel pump, increase the fuel pressure to specifications or replace the fuel pump. Test the burner transformer for a proper arc between contacts and replace it if needed. Make sure all wire contacts are clean and tight, with no breaks in the wiring. If the burner motor thermal protector has tripped, check the voltage, connections, and extensions. Also, verify the fuel pump shaft rotation isn't binding and causing the motor to overheat. Replace the flex-coupli...
