Feed the safety strap through the bicycle frames and around the U-clamp, and then tighten the safety strap rmly.
When loading your drawbar carrier, it is vital to follow the maximum loading capacity of your towbar. Attention: the steering angle must not be hindered.
The prole width of the caravan drawbar must not exceed 45 mm.
Caution: The steering lock must not be impeded.
The assembly and the attachment of the drawbar carrier are only correct when the distance between the drawbar proles is between 380 mm-740 mm.
The required minimum length of the drawbar is 1400 mm (see photo).
The drawbar carrier is not suitable for installation on short drawbars.
Prior to each departure and also in between your trip check if the carrier is xed tightly on your drawbar and also check the fastening of your bicycles on the
drawbar carrier, to recognize possible damages of the fastening parts at an early stage and repair it.
If loaded the safety strap has to be installed.
In case of cross winds lower your speed. Take care that no attachment parts on the bicycle can get lost (bicycle tyre inator, baskets, bicycle bell etc.). Avoid
jerky braking, acceleration and steering movements. Only use original parts for exchange.
For correct and secure mounting follow the assembly instructions exactly. In case of doubt of these instruc-tions contact the dealer or the manufacturer
directly for further information.
For your own safety you should check the carrier and the corresponding load at regular intervals, as you are obliged to do so according to § 23 of the Road Trac
Regulations and in case of any damage you can be hold liable.
The manufacturer and the dealer absolve themselves of responsibility for any damages to property or persons based on incorrect mounting or improper use
