LAS 11807 - Fasten Bicycles on the Drawbar Carrier

With the aid of the drawbar attachments supplied, attach the drawbar carrier to the drawbar of your caravan. The plastic blocks are positioned under the drawbar
carrier on the caravan drawbar, so that the U-clamp of the drawbar carrier can move freely and does not come into contact. The attachment clamps are tted
around the prole of the drawbar from below, and secured to the drawbar attachment with the pipe clamps, washers and nuts. After attachment to the drawbar,
you can bolt the holders rmly to your drawbar carrier using the 4 mm locking bolts supplied.
Put the rst bicycle in the rst wheel rail (closest to the vehicle) and fasten on U-bolt with the short fastening straps.
Fasten the wheels with the 3 small fastening straps. Please take care, that 2 fastening straps are foreseen for the steerable wheel and one fastening strap is for
the xed wheel. Usually the second bicycle is placed opposed into the second rail and also fastened on the U-bolt with the short fastening straps. Fasten the
wheels as described for bicycle one.
It might be necessary to adjust the bicycles individually on the drawbar carrier other then described in order to fasten the bicycles correctly. Now secure the
bicycles with the long safety strap. Pull the safety strap through the bicycle frames and around the U-bolt and fasten the safety strap tightly.
CAUTION:
The steering lock must not be impeded.
