The ThermoCamera Connect is a versatile thermal imaging device designed for non-contact surface temperature measurement and visual display of thermal patterns. It utilizes an integrated unchilled microbolometer to evaluate radiation in the infrared wavelength range, providing a visual image of temperatures surrounding an inspected object. The device translates temperature differences into a thermogram with a false-color display, making thermal patterns easily discernible.
Function / Application
The primary function of the ThermoCamera Connect is to visualize thermal patterns and enable non-contact measurement of surfaces. Its imaging technology captures temperature differences and displays them using color-coding in a thermogram. This capability makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including:
- Electrical Component Analysis: Locating overloads in electrical components to prevent failures.
- Mechanical Component Inspection: Detecting overheating in mechanical parts, which can indicate friction or wear.
- Building Diagnostics: Pinpointing and analyzing heating lines in walls and floors, identifying insulation issues, and detecting moisture.
- HVAC Systems: Assessing refrigerant and air conditioning systems for efficiency and potential problems.
- General Temperature Monitoring: Any application requiring visual representation of temperature distribution across a surface.
