Do you have a question about the LAUMAS W200-C and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The W200-C Load is an advanced weighing instrument designed for various industrial applications, offering precise measurement, control, and communication capabilities. It supports a wide range of functionalities, from basic weighing to complex batching processes, and is available in several versions with different ingress protection (IP) ratings and enclosure types.

Function Description:

The W200-C Load serves as a versatile weighing instrument capable of displaying net weight, zero deviation, and stability. It supports multiple units of measure, including kilograms (kg) and grams (g). The device can be configured for semi-automatic tare, preset tare, and semi-automatic zero-setting for small variations. It features a comprehensive menu system for setting system parameters, batching constants, and communication settings.

Key functions include:

  • Batching: The instrument can load automatically a settable amount of product on the weighing structure, driving the batching organ (including two-speed) through PRESET and SET contacts. It supports up to 99 settable formulas, batching resume after blackout, automatic fall calculation, autotare at batching start, tolerance error control, precision batching through slow function, consumption storage, and print of batching data.
  • Calibration: Both theoretical and real calibration (with sample weights) are supported. Theoretical calibration involves setting the instrument full scale and load cells sensitivity. Real calibration allows for fine-tuning using known sample weights and can be linearized up to five points for enhanced accuracy.
  • Zero Setting: The instrument offers tare weight zero setting to compensate for product residues and a zero value manual entry for situations where the weighed structure tare cannot be reset. Automatic zero setting at power-on is also available, resetting the weight if it falls below a set threshold.
  • Filtering: A digital filter can be applied to the weight display to increase stability, with adjustable response times.
  • Anti-Peak Function: This feature helps to filter out sudden disturbances in weight readings, ensuring stable measurements.
  • Alarms: The instrument can be configured to trigger alarms for various conditions, including approval contact, formula not programmed, maximum weight exceeded, minimum weight, no increase in weight, no decrease in weight, fall, and PC not reading batching data.
  • Communication: The W200-C supports RS232 and RS485 serial communication for data transmission to PCs, remote displays, and other instruments. It can operate in transmitting or receiving instrument modes, allowing for weight reading via serial port. Modbus-RTU protocol is supported for network communication.
  • Keypad and Display Locking: The keypad and/or display can be locked to prevent unauthorized access or changes to settings.
  • Data Deletion and Program Selection: The instrument allows for data deletion and selection of various programs, including basic weighing, setpoint management, weight remote display, monoproduct loading/unloading, and multi-product batching.
