Insert the plug into the socket.
Press the MULTIFUNCTION button to pow-
er on the machine.
The machine can also be powered on by lifting
the capsules loading lever or by removing the pod
drawer.
The machine starts the warm-up cycle. The MULTI-
FUNCTION button turns on with steady white
light and the display will show the following animation.
PREPARING THE MACHINE
The machine will be ready for use when the supply
buttons light up to a steady white light white light.
STANDBY FUNCTION
To ensure energy saving, after 10 minutes of inactiv-
ity the machine will automatically switch to Eco
mode, after 30 minutes in the stand-by mode The
machine can be set in stand-by mode manually be
-
fore the 30 minutes, by keeping the MULTIFUNC-
TION button pressed or selecting the “Power
off” option in the machine menu. This condition is
indicated by the turning off of the buttons. Press
again the MULTIFUNCTION button
to re-
sume machine operation.
In Eco mode, the buttons are off and the MULTI
-
FUNCTION button turns on with slow-blink-
ing light.
