The iCigar Pro DCH-67 is a humidifier designed for cigar humidors, emphasizing quality and precise humidity control. It is engineered in the USA and manufactured in China, with patent rights issued and/or pending.

Function Description:

The primary function of the iCigar Pro DCH-67 is to maintain optimal humidity levels within cigar humidors. It achieves this through a combination of powerful fans, a water tank with a dry gel medium, and a highly accurate capacitive humidity sensor. The device actively monitors both humidity and temperature within the humidor and adjusts its operation to reach a user-defined target humidity. It can maintain up to 55 cubic feet (CB-FT) humidors on its own and up to 110 CB-FT when used with a sub-tank (not included).

Usage Features:

Easy Setup: Involves pouring dry gel into the water tank, adding distilled or carbon filtered drinking water up to the water line, and allowing 20 minutes for gel absorption.
User-Friendly Interface: Features 'MODE', 'UP', and 'DOWN' buttons for setting target humidity, switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit, and displaying Max/Min humidity.
Target Humidity Setting: Users can press and hold the 'MODE' button for 3 seconds until the RH setting numbers flash, then use 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons to adjust the desired humidity.
Temperature Display: Quickly pressing 'MODE' switches between °C and °F.
Max/Min Humidity Display: Pressing 'UP' or 'DOWN' displays the maximum and minimum humidity recorded.
Low Water Alarm: The LCD displays a water drop icon and beeps for 30 seconds when the water level is low. Any button press can turn off the alarm early.
Flat Cable Connection: A crucial connection between the Main Controller and Water Tank, requiring careful handling. Instructions are provided for connecting the flat cable to avoid damage, ensuring the blue side faces up and is centered when plugging into the cable lock.

Maintenance Features:

Gel Replacement: The dry gel in the water tank should be replaced yearly.
Water Refill: Use only distilled or carbon filtered drinking water to fill the tank to the water line. Overfilling can cause ventilation issues and short circuits.
Water Type Caution: Do not use tap water as it can damage the humidifier, humidors, and cigars. If using without gel, carbonated filtered drinking water is recommended over distilled water, as distilled water is too pure for the water sensor to detect.
Cleaning: If lime buildup is observed on the two water sensor poles, clean them with de-lime solution or vinegar. Care must be taken to prevent liquid from entering the humidifier.
Recalibration: The hygrometer can be recalibrated to match another capacitive humidity sensor. This involves holding the 'MODE' button and using 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons to adjust the displayed humidity on the upper left side of the humidifier.
Reset Memory: A dedicated button (10) is available to reset memory.
Power Safety: Ensure the power plug is dry before plugging it into any power outlet and avoid having water near electrical connections.
Ventilation: The device includes air out (4) and air in (5) ventilation points, which should not be obstructed.
