What to do if my LEGRAND UPS says overloaded?
    • R
      Richard SmithAug 3, 2025
If the LCD on your LEGRAND UPS indicates “UPS is overloaded” or has already shut down, it's likely due to an overload. In Normal or Battery mode, shutdown times vary based on overload percentages: a 110% overload triggers an alarm for 20 seconds before shutdown, a 125% overload triggers an alarm for 10 seconds before shutdown, and a 150% overload causes an immediate shutdown. To resolve this, reduce the load, and then press the power button to re-establish power to the UPS outlets.

Why are my LEGRAND UPS outlets not providing power?
    • B
      Brian BrownAug 7, 2025
If your LEGRAND UPS outlets aren't providing power, there are several potential causes: * The AC input power cord may not be properly connected. Ensure your input power cord is securely connected to the connector on the back of your UPS and plugged into an appropriately rated receptacle. * The UPS battery power may be discharged. Recharge your UPS battery for at least eight hours. * Manual, Automatic, or Scheduled Load Shedding might be enabled. Check the outlet state setting on the LCD menu.

What to do if my LEGRAND MIDDLE ATLANTIC NEXSYS UPS has shut down?
    • B
      Brian NelsonAug 11, 2025
If your LEGRAND UPS has shut down, it could be due to a couple of reasons. If a “UPS overloaded” warning message appeared, the UPS was overloaded above 105% for more than 30 seconds. Alternatively, if a “High Internal Temperature” warning message appeared, the UPS was above 176° F (80° C) for more than 5 seconds. If it was overloaded, reduce the load, and then press the power button to re-establish power to the UPS outlets. If it overheated, press the power button to start the UPS.

Why doesn't my LEGRAND UPS operate for the expected runtime?
    • J
      Jonathan RogersAug 15, 2025
If your LEGRAND UPS isn't operating for the expected runtime, it could be because the UPS battery is not fully charged. Recharge your UPS battery for at least eight hours. If problems persist after a full charge, the battery may need replacement.

What does a High Input Current warning message mean on my LEGRAND UPS?
    • G
      Geoffrey RushAug 19, 2025
If your LEGRAND UPS displays a High Input Current warning message, it's likely that with a low input voltage, the UPS compensates and produces higher current to maintain the power demand. Access your UPS activity logs and look for any consistent low voltage reading trends, which may indicate a possible site issue. Reduce the load to resolve any high current production stress to the UPS.

Why doesn't my LEGRAND UPS calculate the expected runtime for the expandable battery?
    • B
      Brandon LittleAug 25, 2025
If the LEGRAND UPS does not calculate the expected runtime for its connected expandable battery option, it might be because the UPS is not configured to automatically detect the expandable battery. Check that the external battery setting is configured to Auto. Another cause might be that the main connector cord and communication cable are not properly connected between the UPS and the expandable battery. Properly connect the main connector cord and the communication cable between the UPS and the expandable battery.

Why is the RackLink™ Network Card not recognized when my LEGRAND UPS is off?
    • A
      Anthony RoseAug 28, 2025
When the LEGRAND UPS is turned Off, and the RackLink™ Network Card is not recognized, the UPS sleep mode (disabled by default) might be enabled. When enabled, sleep mode deactivates the network card port when the UPS is Off, the batteries are fully charged, and the LCD panel is asleep. Disable the sleep mode function to keep your network card on regardless of your UPS power settings.
