Power supplies
The server supports up to two redundant hot-swap power supplies, providing N+N redundancy. Most
standard models come with two power supplies (Table 2).
The MAX5 power subsystem consists of two hot-pluggable 675 W power supplies, designed for N+N (fully
redundant) hot-swap operation. The MAX5 V1 has one power supply standard and a second optional
power supply for redundancy. See the MAX5 section for details. The MAX5 V2 has two power supplies
installed. No further power supplies are needed or available.
