v Use 1.8 V, 240-pin double data rate 2 synchronous dynamic random access
memory (DDR2 SDRAM).
v Use any combination of 256 MB, 512 MB, 1.0 GB, or 2.0 GB sizes for a maximum
of 8.0 GB.
To
install a memory module:
1. Remove the cover. See “Removing the cover” on page 19.
2. Locate the memory connectors. See “Identifying parts on the system board” on
page 23.
3. Open the retaining clips.
4. Make sure that the notch 1 on the memory module aligns correctly with the
connector key2 on the system board. Push the memory module straight
down into the connector until the retaining clips close.
