However,iftheoriginalpowerplanissettoMaximum
PerformanceorMaximumBatteryLife,users
cannotusetheslidertomodifythepowersaving
settingsinthepowerplan.
2.IftheoriginalpowerplanisnotownedbyPower
Manager,userscanstillswitchtoanotherpowerplan.
Whenthispolicyisenabled,usersstillcanmodifythe
activepowerplan,ormovetheslidercontrolinBasic
mode.
Donotallowclienttocreatenewpowerplan
Specieswhethertoallowcreatinganewpowerplanin
PowerManageronclientcomputers.
Ifyouenablethispolicysetting,theNewbuttonfor
creatingpowerplansinPowerManagermainuser
interfaceisunavailable,thoughuserscancreateapower
planoutsidePowerManager.Forexample,userscan
createapowerplanusingPowerOptiontoolinControl
Panel.
Donotallowclienttoselectspecicpowerplan
Specieswhethertoallowselectingspecicpowerplan
ownedbyPowerManageronclientcomputers.
Ifyouenablethispolicysetting,youmustinputthepower
planname.Whenapowerplanwithaninvalidnameis
selected,thecurrentpowerplanisswitchedtoanother
predenedpowerplan.
