Configurethecamerasettingsdirectlyfromtheprogramthatisusingthecamera.Fordetails,seethe
helpinformationsystemoftheprogram.
ClickLenovoSettingsfromtheStartscreen.ThenclickCamera.Followtheinstructionsonthe
screentoconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
ForWindows7:StarttheCommunicationsUtilityprogramandconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
Usingaflashmediacard
Yourcomputerhasamediacardslot,itsupportsthefollowingcards:
MultiMediaCard(MMC)module
SecureDigitaleXtended-Capacity(SDXC)card
SecureDigital(SD)card
SecureDigitalHigh-Capacity(SDHC)card
Note:YourcomputerdoesnotsupporttheCPRMfeaturefortheSDcard.
Attention:Whiletransferringdatatoorfromaflashmediacard,suchasanSDcard,donotputyour
computerintosleeporhibernationmodebeforethedatatransfercompletes;otherwise,yourdatacould
becomedamaged.
Installingaflashmediacard
Attention:
Beforeyoustartinstallingacard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Thisactionreducesany
staticelectricityfromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
Toinstallaflashmediacard,dothefollowing:
1.Ensurethatthecardiscorrectlyoriented.
2.Insertthecardfirmlyintotheslotofthe4-in-1mediacardreader.
Iftheplug-and-playfeatureisnotenabledfortheinstalledflashmediacard,dothefollowingtoenable
thefeature:
1.GotoControlPanel.
2.ClickHardwareandSound.
3.ClickDeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconfirmation,typethe
passwordorprovideconfirmation.
4.FromtheActionmenu,selectAddlegacyhardware.TheAddHardwareWizardstarts.
5.Followtheinstructionsonthescreen.
Removingaflashmediacard
Attention:
Beforeremovingacard,stopthecardfirst.Otherwise,dataonthecardmightbedamagedorlost.
Donotremoveacardwhilethecomputerisinsleepmodeorhibernationmode.Otherwise,thesystem
mightnotrespondwhenyoutrytoresumeoperation.
Toremoveacard,dothefollowing:
1.Clickthetriangularicononthewindowsnotificationareatoshowhiddenicons.Then,right-clickthe
SafelyRemoveHardwareandEjectMediaicon.
