AfteryounishinstallingaWindowsoperatingsystem,youmightneedtodownloadandinstallrequired
devicedriverstoensurethatthehardwaredevicesinyourserverworkcorrectly.
Toidentifyhardwaredevicesthatarenotworkingcorrectly,openDeviceManagerbydoingthefollowing:
1.ClickStart.
2.Right-clickMyComputer.
3.ClickManageandselectDeviceManagerintheleftpane.
InDeviceManager,hardwaredevicesthatarenotworkingcorrectlyareindicatedbyayellowexclamation
markandareusuallylistedunderOtherDevices.
Todownloadandinstalladevicedriver,dothefollowing:
1.Gotohttp://www.lenovo.com/drivers.Then,followtheinstructionsontheWebpagetodownloadthe
installationleforthedesireddevicedrivertoaUSBstoragedevice.
2.Copytheinstallationletotheserverwherethedevicedriveristobeinstalled,andthendouble-click
theinstallationle.
3.ClickNextintheWelcomewindow.
4.IntheLicenseAgreementwindow,selectIaccepttheagreement,andthenclickNexttocontinue.
5.Specifythedirectorywhereyouwanttosavetheinstallationle,andthenclickNext.
6.ClickInstalltobegintheinstallationprocess.
7.Whenyouarepromptedthattheinstallationhascompleted,clickFinish.
Tocongurethenetwork,clickStart➙ControlPanel➙NetworkConnections,andthenselectNew
ConnectionWizardtosetupthenetworkconnection.
Tocongurenetworkprotocols,right-clickLocalAreaConnectionintheNetworkconnectionswindow,and
thenclickProperties.
Tojoinadomain,clickStart➙ControlPanel➙System,clicktheComputerNametab,andthenclick
Change.
