5.2 Operation for ATEX / IECEx Application
Specific precautions may be considered while using the bearingless fan in potentially explosive gas
atmospheres according to ATEX / IECEx category 2G/2D (Zone 1 and 21) or 3G/3D (Zone 2 and 22).
Operational Temperature 85°C T6
Maximum allowed gas temperature is 40°C / 104°F for the use in Ex classified
applications.
Protection against Objects
(IP20).
50 mm (IP10).
If installed in a duct system, protection may be anywhere upstream (inlet) or
downstream (outlet).
Do not operate the fan against closed valves
Operation against closed valves might lead to increased gas temperature.
