4-3. Do-it-yourself maintenance
When raising your vehicle with a floor jack, position the jack correctly.
Improper placement may damage your vehicle or cause injury.
■ Front
■ Rear
Position the floor jack diagonally
in the direction of the arrow
marked on the underbody
cover.
Do not position the jack on a
straight angle as the exhaust
pipe may block the jack arm,
preventing the jack from being
positioned properly.
