Navigation System Installation Guide
Location
1. Replace Navigation DVD
a. Turn the ignition switch to the "ACC" or
"ON" position.
b. Press the "OPEN" button to tilt the navigation
display.
c. Press the "MAP" button to remove the old
navigation DVD.
d. Remove and discard the old DVD.
e. Insert the new navigation DVD.
f. Push the "OPEN" button again to close the
display panel
2. Verify the search area is set to the local are
a
described in the navigation system owners
manual.
3. Your navigation system will now update
on its own.

Turn Ignition to ACC or ON

Insert New Navigation DVD

Close Navigation Display

Remove Navigation ECU (LS 430)

Remove ECU Screws

Remove the 2 screws securing the navigation ECU.

Raise Navigation ECU

Raise the front portion of the navigation ECU to detach it.

Replace Navigation DVD (LS 430)

Reinstall Navigation ECU (LS 430)

Push ECU Down

Reinstall ECU Screws

Replace Navigation DVD (LX 470)

Replace Navigation DVD (RX 330)

Open Rear Hatch and Deck Board

Remove Old DVD

Close Dust Cover and Reinstall Components (RX 330)

Close Deck Board

Replace Navigation DVD (SC 430)

Remove ECU Cover

Open Dust Cover and Eject DVD

Press 'PUSH' button, slide left to open cover and eject DVD.

Insert New DVD

Close Dust Cover and Reinstall ECU Cover (SC 430)

Close Dust Cover

Reinstall ECU Cover
