HV Battery Pack Recycling
The HV battery pack is recyclable. Contact either your Lexus Distributor as mentioned on
HV battery Caution Label (see page 37) or the nearest Lexus dealer.
Auxiliary Battery
The RC300h also contains a sealed lead-acid 12 Volt battery. This 12 Volt auxiliary battery
powers the vehicle electrical system similar to a conventional vehicle. As with other
conventional vehicles, the auxiliary battery is grounded to the metal chassis of the vehicle.
The auxiliary battery is located in the luggage compartment area. It is concealed by a fabric
cover on the left side in the luggage compartment.
