Why can't I connect to my LG-Ericsson iPECS ES-4550G Switch using Telnet?

If you're having trouble connecting to the LG-Ericsson Switch via Telnet, web browser, or SNMP, verify the switch is powered on and check the network cabling between your management station and the switch. Ensure you have a valid network connection and that the port you're using hasn't been disabled. Also, confirm that the VLAN interface, through which the management station is connected, is configured with a valid IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway. Make sure the management station's IP address is in the same subnet as the switch's IP interface. If connecting via a tagged VLAN group IP address, your management station and the ports connecting intermediate switches must be configured with the appropriate tag.
