  If your LG LCD TV shows a normal picture but has poor or no sound, try switching to a different channel as there may be a broadcast problem. Also, ensure that the audio isn't muted by pressing the MUTE button or using the Volume Up key. Furthermore, verify that the pillow speaker and TV speaker are configured correctly by checking Installer Menu items 020 FEATURE LEVEL and 027 HOSPITAL MODE, and select TV Speaker in the Audio Menu if applicable.

  If your LG LCD TV's remote isn't working, ensure the remote is set to “TV” mode using the MODE key. Point the remote directly at the TV's IR receiver, and make sure you're close enough, and the path isn't obstructed. Replace the batteries, verifying the correct polarity (+ and -). Dim the lights in the room. Note that a compatible Installer Remote is required, so contact your LG dealer if needed. If applicable, ensure the bed switch is correctly set or update the Installer Menu.

  If you can't directly enter a channel number on your LG LCD TV, and the TV is in Pass-through Mode, set Installer Menu item 028 CH. OVERIDE to 1 to enable direct keypad entry for all channels. If the TV is in FTG Mode, modify the FTG Channel Map using the FTG File Manager or the FTG Configuration Application as needed.

  To resolve the issue of no channels being present after setup on your LG LCD TV, run Auto Tuning (Channel Search). Refer to the Express Script or Custom Master TV Setup procedure as appropriate. For Express Script, select “Execute Auto Search” in the Auto Search screen. To reactivate the Express Script, set Installer Menu item 117 FACT DEFAULT to 001.
