      If your LG Air Conditioner isn't working, first, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into the outlet and that power isolators are switched on. Check the circuit breaker and replace the fuse if it's blown. If a power failure occurred, turn off the appliance, wait 3 minutes after the power is restored, and then turn it back on. Also, verify that the batteries in the remote control are correctly inserted or replace them. Make sure that air inlet or outlet vents are not obstructed. Finally, confirm that the appliance wasn't turned off automatically by a timer and turn it on.

      If your LG Air Conditioner is not emitting cool air, ensure that curtains, blinds, or furniture are not blocking the unit. Clean the air filter every 2 weeks. If the room temperature is too high, select Jet mode for faster cooling and allow the unit time to cool the room, especially when first turned on. Check that the desired temperature is lower than the current temperature and that no cold air is escaping through ventilation points. Avoid using heat generators nearby. If Fan mode is selected, switch to a cooling operation. The cooling effect may not be sufficient if the outside temperature is too high.

      If your LG Air Conditioner stops during operation, the Off Timer function may have timed out; check the timer settings. If you made a mistake in timer operation, set the timer correctly. If a power failure occurred, wait for the power to return. With Auto Restart enabled, the appliance will resume operation a few minutes after power is restored.

      If your LG Air Conditioner isn't emitting warm air, and the vane is almost closed at the start of Heating mode, this is normal; wait for the appliance to generate enough warm air. If the outdoor unit is in Defrosting mode due to low outside temperatures, wait approximately 15 minutes for it to finish. Note that the heating effect may not be sufficient if the outside temperature is too low.

      If your LG Air Conditioner's indoor unit smells, it may be due to absorbed odours like cigarette smoke being discharged with airflow. Try washing the filter. If the smell persists, contact a service center to clean the heat exchanger. Also, check for damp smells from walls, carpet, furniture, or cloth items, and clean them if necessary.
