HOW TO USE
Glide’N’Serve
The Glide’N’Serve provides storage space with a variable
temperature control that can keep the compartment at a
slightly different temperature than the refrigerator section.
This drawer can be used for large party trays, deli items and
beverages. (This drawer should not be used for vegetables
that require high humidity.)
Set the control between COLD and COLDER. Use the
COLDER setting for items such as meats and deli items.
Humidity Controlled Crisper
and Glide’N’Serve
Humidity Controlled Crisper
* Depending on the model, some of the following functions
may not be available.
The crispers provide fresher tasting fruit and vegetables by
letting you easily control humidity inside the drawer.
You can control the amount of humidity in the moisture-
sealed crispers by adjusting the control to any setting be-
tween HIGH and LOW
.
HIGH
y
keeps moist air in the crisper for best storage of
fresh, leafy vegetables.
LOW
y
lets moist air out of the crisper for best storage of
fruit.
Suggestion For Energy Saving
Please do not keep the door open for a long time, close
y
door in the shortest time.
Too much food are not advised to be put in. Enough
y
space should be kept for cool air circulating freely.
Do not set the temperature of refrigerator lower than
y
needed. Do not put the food near the temperature sen-
sor.
Allow hot food to cool prior to storing. Placing hot food
y
in the fridge-freezer could spoil other food, and lead to
higher electric bills.
Do not block air vents with food. Smooth circulation of
y
cold air keeps fridge-freezer temperature even.
Do not open the door frequently. Opening the door lets
y
warm air enter the fridge-freezer, and cause tempera-
ture to rise.
