Why LG Dryer not turning on?
    • R
      robinburkeAug 19, 2025
Your LG dryer might not be turning on because the power cord isn't properly plugged into the grounded outlet. Ensure the plug is securely connected to an outlet that matches the dryer's rating plate. Also, check if a house fuse is blown, the circuit breaker has tripped, or a power outage has occurred. Reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse. If it is a circuit overload, have it corrected by a qualified electrician.

What to do if my LG Dryer does not heat?
    • Z
      zramosAug 21, 2025
If your LG dryer isn't heating, first check if a house fuse is blown, the circuit breaker has tripped, or there's a power outage. Reset the breaker or replace the fuse, without increasing its capacity. For gas models, ensure both the house and dryer gas shutoffs are fully open. Also, if you're using the Cotton/Normal cycle, deselect the Energy Saver option, as it adds an air dry section, and it's normal to feel no heat at the beginning of the cycle in this mode.

Why is my LG DLEX5000V not heating up?

      Amanda MichaelAug 26, 2025
If your LG Dryer isn't heating, first check your house fuse or circuit breaker and reset it or replace the fuse if needed, without increasing its capacity. For gas models, ensure both the house gas shutoff and the dryer gas shutoff are fully open. Also, if you're using the Cotton/Normal cycle, try deselecting the Energy Saver option, as it adds an air dry section at the beginning, which means you won't feel heat right away.

Why is there lint on clothes after drying in my LG Dryer?
    • D
      Deborah WhiteAug 28, 2025
If you notice lint on clothes after drying in your LG dryer, ensure you clean the lint filter before every load and, for loads producing a lot of lint, during the cycle. Sort your laundry properly, separating lint producers from lint trappers. Also, avoid overloading the dryer by dividing larger loads into smaller ones, and always check pockets for tissues or paper before washing and drying clothes.

Why excess static in clothes after drying in LG DLEX5000V?
    • K
      Kenneth RobinsonSep 3, 2025
If you have excess static in clothes after drying with your LG dryer, it may be caused by not using fabric softener, or using it incorrectly. Make sure to use fabric softener correctly. Overdrying laundry can also cause static, so adjust settings for a shorter drying time or use SENSOR DRY cycles. Static buildup can also happen when drying synthetics, permanent press, or synthetic blends; try using a fabric softener with these materials.

    • F
      feliciawoodSep 6, 2025
If you find greasy or dirty spots on clothes after using your LG dryer, confirm that you are following the instructions provided with your fabric softener. Also, ensure you're only drying clean items, as dirty items can soil clean clothes. Stains on dried clothes may be stains that were not removed during the washing process, so make sure clothes are being completely cleaned according to the instructions for your washer and detergent.
