Why is my LG Duct Air Conditioner not cooling properly?
    • V
      Virginia SanchezJul 26, 2025
Several factors can affect the cooling performance of your LG Air Conditioner. Check if the air filter is dirty, or if the intake grille or outlet port is blocked. Ensure the thermostat is set correctly and that no windows or doors are open. During cooling, bright sunlight entering the room, heating appliances, computers, or too many people in the room can also impact performance.

      Kimberly MosleyAug 3, 2025
First, check if there has been a power failure. Also, verify whether a fuse has blown or a circuit breaker has been tripped. Finally, make sure the timer is not operating.

Why is my LG Duct not starting immediately?

      Anthony SinghAug 10, 2025
If you stop and immediately restart the unit, the compressor won't operate for about 3 minutes to prevent fuse issues. Also, after turning the electrical breaker off and on, the protection circuit prevents operation for about 3 minutes.

Why is my LG Duct emitting mist or steam?
    • M
      mark40Aug 17, 2025
During cooling, a thin mist from the indoor unit is due to the sudden cooling of room air, causing condensation. During heating, steam from the outdoor unit with the fan stopped indicates the Automatic Defrosting operation.
