  If your LG Washer isn't starting or spinning, first ensure the electrical power cord is tightly plugged into the wall outlet. Check your house fuse or circuit breaker and reset if necessary, and ensure the water supply tap is turned on. Also, make sure the door is firmly shut. Press the Start/Pause button; it may take a few moments for the washer to begin spinning, as the door must be locked first. If it won't spin, add 1 or 2 similar items to help balance the load, or rearrange the load for proper spinning.

  Water leaks, slow filling, or draining issues with your LG Washer can stem from several causes. Check if the fill or drain hoses are loose at the tap or washer and tighten them. Clogged house drain pipes can also be a culprit; unclog them or contact a plumber. Ensure adequate water supply by checking another tap and fully opening the tap. Straighten any kinked water inlet or drain hoses, and inspect and clean the filters of the inlet hose and drain filter. Also, too much or unsuitable detergent can cause excessive foaming and leaks.

Why does my LG Washer make rattling and clanking noises?

  Rattling and clanking noises in your LG Washer can be due to foreign objects like coins or safety pins in the drum or pump. Stop the washer and check the drum and drain filter for any obstructions. If the noise persists after restarting, contact an authorized service center. A thumping sound may be normal with heavy wash loads. Vibrating noise may mean that transit bolts and packing weren't removed during installation, or the feet aren't firmly on the ground, or the wash load is unevenly distributed. Refer to the Installation guide for removing transit bolts, or stop the washer and rearrange the wash load.
