Why is my LG F1481TDP Washer making a rattling noise?

Your LG Washer may be making a rattling noise due to foreign objects like coins or safety pins in the drum or pump. Stop the washer and check the drum and drain filter. If the noise continues after restarting, contact an authorized service center. Heavy wash loads can also produce a thumping sound, which is usually normal. Ensure all transit bolts and packing have been removed as per the installation guide. Also, make sure all the feet are resting firmly on the ground. An unevenly distributed wash load can also cause noise; stop the washer and rearrange the load.
