Why won't my LG F14A8TDSA Washer start or spin?
    • J
      Jay MartinezAug 21, 2025
Your LG Washer might not start or spin because the electrical power cord may not be properly plugged in. Ensure the plug fits tightly in the wall outlet. Also, a house fuse might be blown, the circuit breaker tripped, or a power outage occurred. Reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse, without increasing its capacity. If the problem is a circuit overload, have it corrected by a qualified electrician. Check if the water supply tap is turned on. Ensure that the door is firmly shut. Close the door and press the Start/Pause button. The door must be locked before the spin cycle can begin. If the load is unbalanced, add one or two similar items to help balance the load, or rearrange the load to allow proper spinning.

    • T
      Teresa HermanAug 26, 2025
If your LG Washer is leaking, not filling with water, or draining slowly, check the following: Ensure fill hoses or the drain hose are not loose at the tap or washer; tighten hose connections if needed. See if house drain pipes are clogged, and unclog them, contacting a plumber if necessary. Verify that the water supply is adequate by checking another tap in the house, and ensure the water supply tap is completely open. Inspect the water inlet hose(s) for kinks and straighten them. Also, check the filter of the inlet hose(s) and clean it if clogged. Finally, inspect the drain hose for kinks or clogs, and clean and straighten it if necessary. Clean the drain filter if it is clogged.

How to stop rattling, thumping, or vibrating noises in my LG Washer?
    • S
      Shawn GutierrezSep 9, 2025
Rattling, clanking, thumping, or vibrating noises in your LG Washer can be caused by several factors. Foreign objects such as coins or safety pins may be in the drum or pump; stop the washer and check the drum and drain filter. Heavy wash loads may produce a thumping sound, which is usually normal; however, if the sound continues, the washer is probably out of balance, so stop it and redistribute the wash load. Ensure all transit bolts and packing have been removed; if not, refer to the Installation Guide for removing them. Check that all the feet are resting firmly on the ground. An unevenly distributed wash load in the drum can also cause these noises; stop the washer and rearrange the wash load.

Why is the wash cycle time delayed on my LG F14A8TDSA Washer?

The washing time on your LG Washer may vary depending on the amount of laundry, water pressure, water temperature, and other usage conditions. If an imbalance is detected or if the suds removing programme is on, the wash time shall be increased.
