Loading and Detergent:
- Laundry should be sorted by fabric type, soil level, color, and load size.
- Detergent dosage depends on the detergent manufacturer's instructions, water temperature, water hardness, and load size.
- Liquid detergent can be poured directly into the main detergent drawer for immediate cycles but not for Time Delay or Pre Wash.
- Fabric softener should not exceed the maximum fill line to prevent early dispensing and staining.
- Water softener (anti-limescale) can be used in areas with high water hardness.
- Tablets can be placed directly into the drum.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance is crucial for extending the appliance's life and ensuring optimal performance.
Care After Wash:
- Wipe the door and door seal to remove moisture.
- Leave the door open to dry the drum interior.
- Wipe the machine body with a dry cloth.
Cleaning the Interior:
- Wipe the door opening and glass with a towel or soft cloth.
- Remove items from the machine promptly after a cycle to prevent wrinkling, color transfer, and odor.
- Run the Tub Clean program monthly (or more often) to remove detergent buildup and residue. This cycle uses a higher water level and spin speed.
Cleaning the Exterior:
- Wipe the door and exterior with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth.
- Immediately wipe off any spills.
- Avoid pressing the surface or display with sharp objects.
Cleaning the Water Inlet Filter:
- Turn off supply taps and unscrew the water supply hose.
- Clean the filter with a hard bristle brush. This is important if water is hard or contains lime deposits, or if the "IE" error code appears.
Cleaning the Drain Pump Filter:
- Open the cover cap and pull out the hose to drain residual water.
- Unplug the drain plug and turn the filter to the left to remove it.
- Remove any extraneous matter from the filter.
- Reinsert the drain plug and turn the pump filter to the right, then close the cover cap.
- This prevents clogging and ensures smooth drainage.
Cleaning the Dispenser Drawer:
- Remove the drawer by pulling it out and pressing the disengage button.
- Remove inserts and rinse them and the drawer with warm water to remove buildup.
- Clean the drawer opening recess with a cloth or small, non-metal brush.
- Wipe dry and replace inserts and drawer.
Caution on Freezing During Winter:
- Install the product where it will not freeze.
- After washing, completely remove water from the pump using the opening hose plug.
- If water does not drain, check for freezing in the drainage unit.
- To thaw, pour warm water (50-60 °C) into the drum and wait 1-2 hours.
- If water supply problems occur due to freezing, turn off the tap, thaw the tap and hose connections with a hot water cloth, and immerse the inlet hose in warm water.
