Function Description:
The fridge-freezer is designed with two compartments: a refrigerator and a freezer, each with independent temperature controls. It features a "Super Freezer" function for rapid freezing of food, which operates for approximately 3 hours before automatically returning to the previous temperature setting. A "Vacation" mode is available to reduce energy consumption when the user is away, activating a power-saving mode. The appliance also includes a "Lock" function to prevent unintended changes to settings, which is activated by pressing the "CHILD LOCK" button for 3 seconds. An "On/Off" button controls the power to the refrigerator. A "Memory Feature" saves the set temperature, vacation status, and On/Off status, restoring them after a power failure. Usage Features:
- Temperature Control: Users can adjust the temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments using dedicated buttons. The refrigerator temperature cycles through 0°C to 6°C, and the freezer temperature cycles through -19°C to -15°C.
- Fresh 0 Zone (Option): This drawer is designed to maintain a temperature 2°C lower than the refrigerator compartment, ideal for keeping contents fresh longer. If the refrigerator is set to 2°C, this zone will be approximately 0°C.
- Water Dispenser: To use the dispenser, the user fills the water tank with potable water (up to 4.5L) and presses the dispenser pad with a cup. Only spring water or potable water should be used; other beverages like milk, juice, or carbonated drinks are not recommended.
- Ice Making: Ice cubes are made by filling the ice tray to the water level and placing it in the freezer. The "SUPER FRZ." button can be used for faster ice production. Ice cubes can be removed by twisting the tray gently, or by running water over the tray for easier removal.
- Door Reversibility: The fridge-freezer is designed with reversible doors, allowing them to open from either the left or right side to suit kitchen layouts. This process involves disassembling and reassembling door components, including handles, hinges, and caps.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning: Before cleaning, the appliance must be unplugged. The exterior should be cleaned with a soft cloth soaked in hot water or liquid detergent, then wiped with a clean wet cloth. The interior should be cleaned similarly. After cleaning, the power cord, plug, and outlet should be checked. The appliance must be dried thoroughly after washing. Abrasive materials, petroleum, benzene, thinner, hydrochloride acid, boiling water, or rough brushes should not be used as they may damage parts.
- Water Dispenser Maintenance:
- Drip Tray: The drip tray should be pulled out, emptied, cleaned, and rinsed. The area around the door and drip tray should be wiped dry.
- Exterior Dispenser: The exterior of the dispenser and the dispenser pad should be wiped with a cloth.
- Water Tank: The water tank can be removed by pressing a fixing lever, and then the cap tank (BIG) can be removed. Both the inside and outside of the water tank should be cleaned and rinsed with a neutral cleansing agent.
- Cap Tank (Big & Small): Both cap tanks should be cleaned and rinsed with a neutral cleansing agent. A small brush is recommended for cleaning the groove part of the cap tank.
- Valve Assembly: The valve assembly should be cleaned and rinsed with a small brush, operating the bottom part of the valve assembly during rinsing. The sealing rubber, if separated for cleaning, must be fixed back in its original position to prevent water leakage.
- Lamp Replacement: If the LED lamp is damaged, it should be replaced by a service center, not by the user.
- Anti-Condensation Pipe: An anti-condensation pipe is installed around the front side and partition between the fridge and freezer compartments to prevent dewing. It is normal for this area to feel warm, especially after installation or in high ambient temperatures.
- Disposal: When disposing of the appliance, the user should contact the local down-block office or waste disposal service. Packing materials should be removed from the door to prevent children from getting locked inside. The refrigerant and insulation blowing gas require special disposal procedures, and the user should consult a service agent or qualified person.
