  If the water from your LG Refrigerator has a bad taste or odor, it could be due to minerals such as sulfur in the water supply; a water filter may be needed. Also, the water filter may be exhausted and need replacement approximately every 6 months, when the indicator turns on, the water dispenser output decreases, or the ice cubes are smaller than normal. If the fridge was recently installed, dispense 10 liters of water to remove trapped air and contaminants.

  If your LG Refrigerator is dispensing warm water, it could be because the fridge was recently installed; allow 24 hours for the water storage tank to cool completely. If the water dispenser has been used recently and the storage tank was exhausted, note that the water storage capacity will range from approximately 20 to 30 oz, depending on your model. If the dispenser has not been used for several hours, discard the first 10 oz. Ensure the fridge is not connected to the hot water supply, as this may damage the icemaker.
