For non-plumbed models, ensure the water dispenser tank is filled. Also, for plumbed models, verify the water supply valve is open. Note that using unfiltered water can clog the filter prematurely due to heavy metals or foreign substances.

  If your LG Refrigerator isn't connecting to Wi-Fi, ensure the Wi-Fi password is correct. Try removing the Wi-Fi network from your smartphone and re-registering the appliance on LG SmartThinQ. Turn off mobile data on your smartphone and use Wi-Fi for registration. The wireless network name (SSID) should use only English letters and numbers, without special characters. Only a 2.4 GHz router frequency is supported; set your wireless router to 2.4 GHz. If the distance between the appliance and the router is too great, move the router closer to the appliance.

Storing warm or moist food without sealing it in a container can also cause condensation, so ensure food is properly sealed.

If purified or cold water hasn't been used for a while, this could affect the taste. Also, check when the filter was last replaced, as an expired filter can reduce purification performance; replace it according to the recommended period. If you've recently installed or replaced the filter, ensure it was properly flushed by dispensing and discarding about 5 liters of water to remove air and activated carbon residue. If the purified or cold water hasn't been used for a long time, dispense and discharge approximately 5 liters of water before use.
