  If your LG refrigerator's automatic icemaker isn't producing ice or is producing only a small amount, consider these factors: If the appliance was recently installed, it takes about 48 hours to produce ice normally. Ensure the water supply pipe is connected and the supply valve is fully open. Check that the water supply hose isn't bent, and allow about 24 hours to produce more ice if you've recently dispensed a large amount. Also, verify that the ice maker switch or the automatic icemaker button on the control panel is set to ON.
