  If your LG refrigerator's automatic icemaker isn't producing enough ice, it could be due to several reasons. If the freezer temperature is set too high, lower it to -18°C for normal operation. Frequent opening of the appliance door can also reduce ice production speed, so avoid doing this. Ensure the appliance door is completely closed. For non-plumbed models, make sure the water tank is filled.

Ensure the water supply pipe is connected and the supply valve is fully open. Check that the water supply hose isn't bent, and allow about 24 hours to produce more ice if you've recently dispensed a large amount. Also, verify that the ice maker switch or the automatic icemaker button on the control panel is set to ON.
