Shortcut keys
You can use the volume keys to directly launch apps when the screen
is turned off or locked.

On the settings screen, tap General Shortcut keys.

Swipe to activate it.
• Press the volume down (-) key twice to launch the Camer
a app
when the screen is locked or turned off. Press the volume up
(+) key twice to launch Capture+.
Google services
You can use Google Settings to manage your Google apps and
account settings.
On the settings screen, tap General
Google services.
Security

Customise settings:
• Content lock: Set the method t
o lock files in QuickMemo+.
• Encrypt phone: Set the de
vice password for privacy. Create a
PIN or password to enter each time the device is turned on. See

for details.
• Encrypt SD card: Encr
ypt the SD card to prevent use on
another device. See

for details.
• Set up SIM card lock: Lock or unlock the USIM c
ard, or change
the password (PIN).
• Password typing visible: Displ
ay a password as you enter it.
• Phone administrators: Allow pr
ivileges to restrict the control
or use of the device to particular apps.
• Unknown sources: Allow the install
ation of apps from non-Play
Store apps.
