Why does my LG Refrigerator compressor motor run so long?

If the compressor motor in your LG Refrigerator seems to run for extended periods, it could be due to several reasons. The room temperature may be higher than usual, causing the motor to work harder to maintain the set temperature, potentially running between 40% to 80% of the time. Frequent door openings or a large amount of food recently stored can also warm up the refrigerator, requiring the motor to run longer to cool it down. Make sure that the doors are closing correctly, and if not, refer to the section on doors not closing completely. Lastly, dirty condenser pipes can also cause the motor to overwork; ensure these pipes are clean.
