      Your LG Refrigerator might not be cooling or have no power for several reasons: * The refrigerator control is set to OFF. Turn the control ON. * The refrigerator is set to Demo Mode. See the FAQs section of this manual for instructions on how to disable Demo Mode. * The refrigerator is in the defrost cycle. Wait 30 minutes and confirm the proper temperature has been restored once the defrost cycle has completed. * The refrigerator was recently installed. It may take up to 24 hours for each compartment to reach the desired temperature. * The refrigerator was recently relocated. If the refrigerator was stored for a long period of time or moved on its side, it is necessary for the refrigerator to stand upright for 24 hours before connecting it to power.

      Your LG Refrigerator icemaker may not be making enough ice because: * Demand exceeds ice production capacity. Refer to the Automatic Icemaker section for ice production capacity to check the amount of ice produced in a 24 hour period. * The house water supply is not connected, the valve is not turned on fully, or the valve is clogged. Connect the refrigerator to a cold water supply with adequate pressure and turn the water shutoff valve fully open. * The water filter has been exhausted. It is recommended to replace the water filter approximately every six months. * There is low house water supply pressure. If the problem persists, it may be necessary to contact a plumber.

      If water is not dispensing from your LG Refrigerator: * If it is a new installation or the water line was recently connected, dispense 2.5 gallons of water (flush for approximately 5 minutes) to remove trapped air and contaminants from the system. * The dispenser panel may be locked. Press and hold the Lock button for three seconds to unlock the control panel and dispenser. * The dispenser may not be set for water dispensing. Press the Water button on the control panel to dispense water. * If the water filter has been recently removed or replaced, dispense 2.5 gallons of water (flush for approximately five minutes) to remove trapped air and contaminants from the system.
