What to do if my LG Air Conditioner does not work?
    • A
      Andrea AguilarAug 2, 2025
If your LG Air Conditioner isn't working, first, ensure it's plugged into the outlet and that power isolators are switched on. Check the fuse and replace it if it has exploded, or see if the circuit breaker has tripped. If a power failure occurred, turn off the air conditioner and wait 3 minutes after the power is restored before turning it back on. Also, verify the batteries are correctly inserted in the remote controller, replacing them if needed. Finally, if the air conditioner was turned off automatically at a preset time, simply turn the air conditioner back on.

Why is my LG Air Conditioner not emitting cool air?
    • T
      Tammy HutchinsonAug 6, 2025
If your LG Air Conditioner isn't emitting cool air, first, check that curtains, blinds, or furniture aren't blocking the unit's front. Clean the air filter every 2 weeks. If it's summer and the room temperature is high, use Jet Mode for faster cooling. Ensure no cold air is escaping through ventilation points. Set the desired temperature lower than the current room temperature and avoid using heat sources nearby. Check that Fan Mode isn't selected; switch to cooling operation instead. Keep in mind that if the outside temperature is too high, the cooling effect might be insufficient.

      Jessica WintersAug 11, 2025
If your LG Air Conditioner is not working normally, and you notice burning smells or strange sounds, water leaks (even at low humidity), a damaged or overheating power cable, issues with the switch, circuit breaker, or fuse, or the unit displays an error code, immediately turn off the air conditioner, disconnect the power supply, and contact the service center.

Why does my LG VR122CW NJM0 Air Conditioner stop during operation?
    • H
      hancockmalloryAug 15, 2025
If your LG Air Conditioner stops during operation, it might be due to the Timer Function timing out; check the timer settings. If a power failure occurred, wait for the power to come back. If you have the Auto Restart function enabled, your unit will resume its last operation several minutes after power is restored.

Why LG VR122CW NJM0 does not emit warm air?
    • F
      Frances MaynardAug 20, 2025
If your LG Air Conditioner does not emit warm air, and the vane is almost closed with no air coming out even when the outdoor unit is running, this is normal; wait for the unit to generate enough warm air. If the outdoor unit is in Defrosting Mode, allow it about 15 minutes to remove frost. Keep in mind that if the outside temperature is too low, the heating effect might not be sufficient.

Why is the indoor unit of my LG VR122CW NJM0 Air Conditioner still operating when turned off?
    • J
      Jesse BrownAug 25, 2025
If the indoor unit of your LG Air Conditioner continues to operate after being turned off, the Auto Clean function is likely running to remove remaining moisture. Allow this function to complete. If you prefer to disable this feature, you can turn the unit off.
