Check the following before calling for service.

light on?
@is the power on and the
power indicator red?
@is the power indicator
blinking?
@Do you see an "OUT OF
RANGE" message on
the screen?
@Do you see a "CHECK
SIGNAL CABLE"
message on the
screen?
• Checkandsee ifthe powercord isconnected
properlytothe poweroutlet.
Pressthe Powerbutton.
Adjustthe brightnessandthecontrast.
• Ifthe displayis in powersavingmode,try moving
the mouseor pressinganykeyon thekeyboardto
bringupthescreen.
Try toturn on the PC.
• This messageappearswhenthe signalfrom the
PC(videocard)isoutofhorizontalorvertical
frequencyrangeofthedisplay.Seethe
'Specifications'sectionofthis manualand
configureyourdisplayagain.
• This messageappearswhenthe signal cable
betweenyourPCandyourdisplayisnot
connected.Checkthesignalcableandtry again.
@Do you see "OSD
LOCKED" when you
pushMENUbutton?
You can secure the current control settings,
so that they cannot be inadvertently changed.
You can unlock the OSD controls at any time
by pushing the MENU button for several
seconds: the message
"OSD UNLOCKED" will appear.
