Why is my LG WM9000HWA Washer draining slowly or not at all?
    • J
      John BurkeAug 7, 2025
If your LG Washer is draining slowly or not at all, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the drain hose is not installed more than 3 feet (1 m) beyond the end of the elbow bracket; lower it if necessary. Also, check if the drain hose is pinched, clogged, or frozen. Place the drain hose on a smooth surface to prevent bending. If frozen, thaw it with warm water. Finally, open the drain pump plug cap and remove any dirt or foreign objects.

Why is my LG WM9000HWA Washer tub not rotating, even after rearranging the load?
    • A
      Andrew DavidAug 16, 2025
If the tub in your LG Washer isn't rotating, it might be overloaded. Rearrange the load and restart the washing machine. If the load is too big, the motor may overheat. Let the washing machine stand for a while, then restart the cycle. If the error continues, unplug the power cord and contact your nearest LG service center.

How to run the Tub Clean cycle on my LG WM9000HWA Washer?
    • J
      Janet BatesAug 19, 2025
When your LG Washer indicates it's time to run the Tub Clean cycle, empty the tub, add bleach to the detergent dispenser, and select the Tub Clean cycle. If you wish to skip the cycle, turn the cycle selector knob or push option buttons to select your desired cycle. The reminder message will reappear for a few wash cycles and then disappear until the next scheduled tub clean cycle.

How to fix an LG WM9000HWA when clothes are bunched on one side?
    • B
      Brenda BlackSep 1, 2025
If clothing items have gathered on one side of the tub in your LG Washer, rearrange them to help balance the load. Items like stuffed animals or mats can cause imbalance during spinning, preventing proper draining. Rearrange knitwear to balance the load and try draining again. When washing blankets, put one in at a time.
