Why is there no audio in my headphones on my Life Fitness SC95?

Position the magnet away from the reed switch and verify continuity between pin #2 and #3, and an open connection between pin #1 and #3. Then, reposition the magnet close to the reed switch and verify an open circuit between pin #2 and #3, and continuity between pin #1 and #3. If necessary, replace the reed switch. Also, verify that the reed switch is properly positioned in relation to the magnet.

Finally, the battery pack itself might be faulty, so charge it overnight and verify that the battery voltage is 6VDC (+/-0.3V), replacing it if necessary.
